Raziuddin ...for the petitioner/applicant This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioner on 1st February, seeking punishments of the alleged contemnors for violation of the order dated 12th February, 1999 passed in WP 18999 (W) of 1998.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he has no instruction in this matter. However, the court may dismiss the contempt application as non-prosecution.

I find that since filing of the contempt application on 1st February, 2000, no effective step was taken on behalf of the petitioner to press the application.

In view of the above, the contempt application is dismissed as not pressed.
