1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. Petitioner is the daughter of an erstwhile employee, who was a teacher in the school. The said erstwhile employee, mother of the petitioner, has expired on February 13, 2025. The petitioner has, thereafter, applied for compassionate appointment in the place of her mother. The concerned District Inspector of Schools has also granted the recommendation on October 29, 2025. The said recommendation was forwarded to the Commission on December 8, 2025. The Commission is yet to take any steps.

3. Respondent no. 4 is directed to take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible, positively by May, 31, 2026 to process such recommendation made by the concerned District Inspector of Schools and dispose of the application of the petitioner by the aforestated date.

4. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

5. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 6.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
