Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated due to political rivalry. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner and Jadu Mondal @ Jadu Mandal are similarly placed. Prayer for anticipatory bail of Jadu Mondal @ Jadu Mandal was rejected on January 4, 2022 in CRM 9046 of 2021. Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 886 of 2022 is dismissed.
