Petitioner before us is the husband of the de facto complainant.

Materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioner was involved in torturing, both physically and mentally, the de facto complainant.

Statements of neighbours are there in the case diary to such effect.

There is an injury report of the de facto complainant in the case diary.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 501 of 2024 is dismissed.
