The report filed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID shows that the victim was recovered and produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Districk Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu and as allowed by the CWC, Kancheepuram, she will be produced before the jurisdictional CWC upon return. It also appears from the report that I.O. arrested the Ramkripal Sahani (22yr) s/o Ramu Sahani of Kamalabari, PS Bispi, Dist Madhuboni, Bihar on 20.05.2024 and produced him before Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kanchhepuram with a prayer for transit remand. He will be produced before Ld.

Judge, Special (POCSO) Court, Howrah upon return.

2. The habeas corpus petition is disposed of on the basis of the aforesaid report.

3. We record our appreciation for the commendable job of the Investigating Officer in recovering the child.

4. The status report is kept with the record.
