Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that after the revisional application in CRR 3478 of 2024 was preferred before the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta, he has been subjected to harassment at the hands of the private respondents who were accused in connection with Kharagpur Town P.S. Case No.327 of 2022. The said accused persons are compelling him to withdraw the case.

State has submitted a report.

Report contends the details regarding the narration of the facts in respect of the investigation carried out and the outcome of the investigation at the behest of the police authorities.

Since the petitioner is subjected to harassment because of persuasion of the revisional

application, the local police station being Kharagpur Town Police Station would on a complaint of insecurity brought to its notice, address the same and restore the confidence of the petitioner. Police authorities would record general diary entry as and when the petitioner approaches for seeking their help. In case the situation is blown out of proportion, the police authorities would not deter from registering any case against any individual who interferes and/or threats the present petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3443 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
