Mr. Rana Mukherjee Ms. Baisali Basu ... for the State.

De facto complainant recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner in an attempt to rape, stalking as well as making indecent proposals. Statement of the de facto complainant stands corroborated by other materials in the case diary.

Minor boy of the de facto complainant when tried to resist the petitioner, suffered injuries.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 491 of 2024 is dismissed.
