The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Kashibati Vivekananda Vidyapith (H.S.), District- Uttar Dinajpur, he died-in-harness on April 17, 2022.

The application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment dated January 16, 2024, which forms part of the writ petition being annexure P-'4', is pending considering before the District Inspector of Schools (S.E), Uttar Dinajpur, the respondent no. 3 herein.

The said respondent, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, shall ascertain his eligibility for such appointment within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 3179 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
