Report in the form of affidavit filed by the respondent No.2 pursuant to an order of a coordinate Bench of this Court dated 31st July, 2023 has been considered.

Exception has already been filed to the report of the respondent No.2.

It appears that the petitioner's chance for employment would arise under the exempted category (EC) when the petitioner's turn comes as per his serial number of enrolment in the concerned Employment Exchange.

The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) appears to have been reserving posts in their recruitment processes for the persons from the exempted category (EC) like the petitioner.

In the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that the respondents are continuing to abide by their obligations of providing job to the petitioner land loser in accordance with law and procedure laid down thereunder. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
