It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the principal accused has been granted statutory bail.

The learned Counsel for the State refers to the statement of the victim's son recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim's son recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure directly implicating the petitioner in the commission of alleged offence and also considering the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is, thus, rejected. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
