Mr. Sunny Nandy ... for the petitioner The order dated 19th February, 2024 reflects that the petitioner was directed to file a supplementary affidavit enclosing the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Today when the revisional application has been called, further accommodation has been prayed on behalf of the petitioner. The stage at which the petitioner approached this court without the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was at premature stage and the petitioner was granted as such an opportunity which was not availed of.

Having considered the same, I direct that in case the petitioner prefers an application for discharge at the appropriate stage before the learned trial court in connection with Dum Dum P.S. case no.596 of 2020 dated 16.09.2020, the learned Trial Court will consider the application for discharge in accordance with law without being influenced by any observation made by this court while disposing of this revisional application. With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application being CRR 571 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
