APP Ms. Suparna Chatterjee ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. There is a huge delay in lodging the FIR. Charge sheet has been submitted. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

She relies on the FIR and the statements of other witnesses showing that the petitioner was the principal accused. From the C.T. scan of brain of the victim, it appears that the injury caused a fracture in the left side of his frontal bone. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider that this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
