The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Khardah Police Station in dealing with this complaint as regards hacking and tampering with his E-mail I.D and mobile number.

The O. C., Khardah Police Station has filed a report dated 13.02.2023.

It appears that requests have been made to Whatsapp and Google LLC for providing details of the hacked E-mail I.D. and mobile number of the petitioner. Steps have been taken with the help of the Cyber Crime Police Station.

It is ordered that investigation be transferred to the Cyber Crime Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate forthwith by the Khardah Police Station.

The petitioner may approach the West Bengal Central School Service Commission with any prayer for change of E-mail I.D. and mobile number and take steps in accordance with law thereafter before an appropriate Court.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
