1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that due to error and oversight, the total marks against Class XII Examination has been mentioned as 700 in his online application and he had omitted to put in the marks in the additional subject. He further submits that his client has been empanelled for the post of Primary Teacher and counseling process is on.

3. Counsel for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the petitioner was given an option to rectify his application twice. On the second occasion, the petitioner himself signed on 17th January, 2023 that all particulars of this application and academic qualifications are correct.

4. It is however submitted by the WBBPE that the petitioner would still be counseled and be entitled to a letter of appointment.

5. However, the respondents shall take due note of the fact that the total marks of the petitioner in Class-XII which he passed in the year 2009 is actually 500 and not for 700. If necessary, the petitioner may be allowed to rectify the same in course of counseling.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
