The petitioner was appointed as the Assistant Teacher of Mathematics under the category of Hons./Post Graduate in Banharishpur High Madrasah (HS).

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been given Post Graduate scale although he is entitled to.

The petitioner gave a representation to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Howrah, the respondent no. 5 herein, with a request to increase his salary to the Post Graduate scale. The representation of the petitioner dated January 25, 2021 is appearing at page 39 of the writ petition being part of the Annexure P4. The further grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not yet been disposed of by the said respondent.

WPA 3840 of 2021 is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 5 to consider and dispose of the said representation with a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and all concerned.

Let a copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition be served upon the said respondent by the petitioner within a week from date.

No order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
