Having considered the settled proposition of law that for fault of a lawyer the litigant should not suffer, I am inclined to recall the order dated 08.04.2026 dismissing the bail application for default.

Accordingly, the order dated 08.04.2026 be recalled. Let the bail application be restored on its original file and number. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2026 is allowed.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the application to Mr. Sagar Saha, learned advocate empanelled with the High Court Legal Aid Services Authority.

Mr. Saha is directed to call for the Case Diary on the next date.

Let the bail application be listed on 12th of May, 2026 under the heading "Bail Application".
