The petitioner complains that the investigation into the FIR No.31/23 dated 6th January, 2023 registered by the Berhampore Police Station under the provisions of the IPC and the SC & ST Act has not been carried out effectively. The petitioner further complains of FIR No.672 of 2022 dated 20th May, 2022 registered by the Berhampore Police Station, Murshidabad.

In so far as the FIR No.31/23 dated 6th January, 2023 is concerned, it is submitted that the accused persons have obtained anticipatory bail from the Sessions Court, Murshidabad in CMC No.274 of 2023 dated 25th January, 2023.

There is no information available from the Berhampore Police Station, Murshidabad as regards the status of FIR No.672 of 2022 dated 20th May, 2022.

It is ordered that the investigation into the aforesaid FIRs be completed strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 45 days from date.

Since the petitioner complains that the prayer for anticipatory bail was not opposed by the police and the petitioner was not even informed of such application, the petitioner may take steps in accordance with law in this regard.

The Headmaster, the Assistant Headmaster and the Assistant Teacher are represented. It is submitted that they have never prevented the petitioner from joining his service.

The petitioner may join his service in the school and continues his service.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
