And In Re : Santosh Kr Singh ........ petitioner Mr. Imdadul Hoque, ...... for the petitioner Mr. Madhu Sudan Sur, Mr. Manoranjan Mahata, ...... for the State The petitioner is in custody for two years. He submits that there is delay in trial. He renews his prayer for bail. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Five out of eight witnesses have been examined. There are materials to show recovery of illegal fir arms and FICNs from the petitioner. Trial has considerably progressed.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
