The alleged contemnor no. 1, namely, Tapan Kumar Basu, District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Hooghly, is personally present before us with an affidavit of compliance, which is taken on record.

In view of reconstruction of record as disclosed in the affidavit of compliance, the contempt proceeding is dropped and the same is disposed of accordingly.

This order shall not prevent the appellants/petitioners to take any appropriate step in accordance with law against the decision communicated to him.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the decision communicated to the petitioners vide letter dated

September 7, 2022 by the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Hooghly.

There will be no order as to costs.
