Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that witness action is about to commence.

Having considered that the quantum recovered is of commercial quantity and the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 305 of 2026 is dismissed.
