Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the applicants is taken on record.

Contempt application is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the applicants and the alleged contemnor.

Mr. Gourav Das, learned advocate representing the alleged contemnor has submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 13th September, 2024, Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal vide memo dated 18th December, 2024 forwarded the recommendation relating to recognition of the school in question to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

It is also submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor that subsequent to issuance of memo dated 18th December, 2024, a corrigendum was
issued vide memo dated 3rd March, 2025, which was also forwarded to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate representing the applicants submits that based on such recommendation recognition has been granted to the school in question as unaided school upto Class-VIII. Submission is also made on behalf of the applicants that recognition may be granted up to Class-X. 6.
Having considered the steps taken by the alleged contemnor by forwarding the recommendation to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education relating to recognition of the school in question, Court finds the order passed by this Court on 13th September, 2024 has been complied with.

Hence, contempt application stands disposed of and contempt proceedings stand dropped.

However, this order shall not preclude the applicants to take steps, in accordance with law, if applicants are aggrieved by the order of recognition.

Copies of memorandum dated 18th December, 2024 and corrigendum dated 3rd March, 2025 issued by the alleged contemnor are taken on record.
10.
Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
