Petitioner Mr. Satadru Lahiri, Mr. Sujan Chatterjee ...for the petitioner Mr. Saibal Bapuli, Mr. Arani Bhattacharya ...for the State In terms of our earlier order, the chemical examiner's report dated 12th April, 2021 is produced before us. It appears from the report that contraband substances seized from the possession of the petitioner are found to contain codeine phosphate. The report filed by the learned counsel appearing for the State is kept with the record.

In view of the fact that contraband items seized from the petitioner is of commercial quantity and are found to contain codeine phosphate, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

We direct the Special Court to expedite the trial. The investigating officer is directed to file the supplementary chargesheet immediately incorporating the report filed in Court.

Accordingly, the application being CRM 1462 of 2021 is rejected.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
