Das Mr. Asraf Mondal ... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Avishek Sinha Mr. Bikram Mitra ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated on the accusation of alleged recovery to the tune of 324 gm of heroine.

It has also been submitted that in connection with the instant case two of the accused persons have been granted bail.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that whole of the recovery was from the possession of the present petitioner and the other accused persons were arrested for the reasons assigned in the said bail order. Learned advocate also submits that date has been fixed before the trial court for consideration of charges in the month of March, 2026.

Having considered the quantum of seizure, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 306 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
