In the present writ petition, the petitioner prayed for issuance of a writ of mandamus restraining the respondents from conducting the auction process mentioned in Memo. No. 53/MN/Auction-30/2021. The report submitted by the State respondents demonstrates that the said auction process has been cancelled by an order of the District Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman passed on 26th August, 2021.

In view of the same, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 3890 of 2021 is disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs.
