APP Mr. Shiladitya Banerjee ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the murder of his own brother.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the post-mortem report which shows infliction of several serious injuries and the statements of eye-witnesses.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
