Heard learned Advocate for the petitioner.

Attention of the Court is drawn to the order dated 31.08.2006 passed in CO 1057 (W) of 1996, which has been re-numbered as WPA 1057 of 1996 that the same is to be heard along with CO 116 (W) of 1988, which has been re-numbered as WPA 116 of 1988.

Mr. Banerjee submits that the writ petitioners in WPA 1057 of 1996 has filed an application for addition of party being CAN 2 of 2022.

Mr. Mukherjee, learned Advocate for the respondent Nos. 4 & 5 in WPA 1057 of 1996 prays for three weeks time to file affidavit-in-opposition to the said application (CAN 2 of 2022). Such prayer is allowed.

Let affidavit-in-opposition in CAN 2 of 2022 be filed within a period of three weeks from date; reply thereto, if any, be filed within two weeks after reopening of this Court after Puja Vacation.

List these matters along with all connected applications three weeks after reopening of this Court after Puja Vacation.

The petitioner is directed to serve notice upon the non-appearing respondents and file affidavit of service on the next day.

The Department is directed to supply the records of WPA 116 of 1988 before this Court on or before the next date of hearing.
