Mr. Samya Ray Mr. Goutam Roy ...for the petitioner Ms. Ratna Ghosh ...for the State Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record and kept in a sealed cover.

Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the de facto complainant.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 27.02.2025 in CRM (A) 545 of 2025, inter alia, on the condition not to enter the jurisdiction of Karandighi Police Station and to report to the Officer in Charge of Police Station concerned within whose jurisdiction he shall presently reside once a week until further orders. The petitioner has been duly complying with the order. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions of the order granting anticipatory bail. Charge sheet has been submitted and date has been fixed for commencement of trial.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the condition to meet the Officer in Charge of the police station concerned within

whose jurisdiction the petitioner would reside once a week is relaxed and instead the petitioner shall meet the said Officer in Charge once a month until further orders. The rest of the condition shall remain the same.

With the above directions and observations, the application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed.
