28.07.2021
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.7 CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION Ct.No.34 dc.
C.R.R. 362 of 2012 (Via Video Conference) Amal Chandra Sarkar versus The State of West Bengal In Re: An Application under Sections 397/401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The subject-matter of challenge in this revisional application relates to Barasat P.S. Case No. 1167/11 dated 18.06.2011 as also the orders dated 09.07.2011, 12.07.2011, 14.07.2011 and 11.11.2011. The order-sheets so enclosed reflect that the said orders are of ad interim bail being granted by the learned CJM, Barasat. With regard to the merits of the revisional application, the same relates to quashing of the FIR which was registered at Barasat Police Station. I have checked the allegation in the complaint which has been treated as FIR of the case as also the contentions advanced by the petitioner in the present revisional application. On appreciation of the points so canvassed in the revisional application, I am of the view that the same are not to be adjudicated at this stage. As such, no interference is called for.
The revisional application being CRR 362 of 2012 is, thus, dismissed.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
