1. None appears on behalf of either of the parties. No accommodation is sought for.

2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner on earlier occasion.

3. No affidavit-in-opposition and no affidavit-in-reply have been filed by the parties as yet.

4. This case is pending since 2006, almost 19 years have passed.

5. This writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner seeking direction upon the respondents, men agents and/or associates to allow the petitioner to participate in the interview for the Gram Panchayat Karmee in 12 No. Juranpur Gram Panchayat in Domkal Block, District - Murshidabad to be held on 05.02.2006 or any other subsequent date as the respondents authority may fix.

6. Considering the nature of the prayer and long pendency of this case, it seems that the writ petitioner is not interested to proceed with instant petition on the ground that either the purpose of filing the writ petition has been resolved or the

petitioner has abandoned his prayer due to passage of time.

7. In view of the above facts, the writ petition being WPA 2724 of 2006 is dismissed without any order as to costs.

8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court without insisting upon production of a certified copy thereof.
