Petitioners Mr. Susnigdho Bhattacharyya Ms. Sarmistha De Mr. Popi Sarkar ...for the petitioners Mr. Subhamoy Bhattacharjee Mr. Tirupati Mukherjee ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The wife of the petitioner no.1 had lodged the first case against the present de facto complainant's family members on 20.12.2025 for an incident that took place on 19.12.2025. As a counter blast, the present case was started on 23.12.2025 for an alleged incident that took place on 22.12.2025. The petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of two minor victim girls aged about 10 years and 13 years. He also relies on the statement of the mother of the two victims recorded before the learned Magistrate. He also refers to the injury report of the mother and the statements of other witnesses.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner no.2 is rejected.
