It is submitted by Mr. Pinaki Biswas, Law Officer of Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal and confirmed by the petitioner that the Pension Payment Order has been issued in favour of the petitioner.

Pursuant to the order dated 17th February, 2023, Mr. Anupam Roy, Treasury Officer, Tamluk is personally present before this Court and submits that all payments have been made to the petitioner. Ms. Maiti, Counsel for the petitioner submits that calculation made in the Pension Payment Order are not correct and his client is entitled to more. This Court is of the view that the issue of calculation of dues of the petitioner cannot be gone into in the contempt proceedings. The same may be agitated in an independent proceeding in accordance with law.

The personal appearance of the alleged

contemnors shall stand dispensed with.

Rule, if any, shall also stand discharged.

The contempt application is, thus, disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
