The petitioner is a primary school teacher. He was issued an appointment letter by the Kolkata Primary School Council and he joined service on March 5, 2010. The case of the petitioner is that he went on unauthorized leave. No disciplinary proceeding was initiated against him for not attending the school. He filed a representation on November 4, 2021 before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Kolkata praying for permission to join service. The same representation has not been considered till date. The petitioner prays for an order for consideration of the said representation.

On perusal of the averments made in the writ petition and also the document annexed thereto and especially the representation filed by the petitioner on November 4, 2021, it appears that the same is

absolutely vague. There is no mentioning of the date on and from which the petitioner remained absent in school. Neither the date nor the month and year from which he remained absent is mentioned therein. The petitioner has also not mentioned the date when he was denied permission to resume his duty.

The Court cannot pass order directing the respondents to consider such an application bereft of the necessary details.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.
