After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, it appears that the petitioner has received the compensation amount from the State legal Services Authority on 25th November, 2022 as directed in the matter. Since the State Legal Services Authority was directed to pay the amount of compensation on 19th April, 2021, the State Legal Services Authority will pay interest on the compensated amount @ 4.5% per annum from 19th April, 2021 till 25th November, 2022. W.P.A.3197 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.
