Leave is granted to the learned advocate for the petitioners to expunge the name of the petitioner no. 3 in the cause title of the writ petition.

Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers of primary schools, under Gosaba Circle of South 24 Parganas District Primary School Council; they are praying 'A' category scale of pay from the date of publication of their results of their professional qualification D.El.Ed.

The representations of the petitioners for such relief has already been forwarded by the concerned Sub-Inspector of Schools to the council. The said representations form part of the writ petition being Annexure - 'P8'.

The prayer of the petitioners for such 'A' category scale of pay from the date of acquisition of their professional qualification i.e. August 26, 2022 is justified.

The council therefore is directed to dispose of their said representations by awarding them such benefit as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 3433 of 2025 is thus disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
