The husband of the petitioner was a Head Teacher at Rajendra Hindi Vidyalaya, Konnagar, a school under Uttarpara Circle of Hooghly District Primary School Council. He died-in-harness on January 07, 2023. The petitioner is praying compassionate appointment of her younger son. The son of the petitioner is major.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that an independent application of the son of the petitioner for compassionate appointment is pending consideration before the Chairperson of the said council.

In the backdrop of such facts and circumstances, the writ petition at the instance of the petitioner is not maintainable. W.P.A. 3430 of 2025 therefore is dismissed without any order as to costs.

This order however will not prevent the son of the petitioner to file a writ petition for redressal of his grievance. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
