The Administrator, Forensic Science Laboratory, West Bengal at Kolkata has filed a report dated 29th March, 2023, which is kept with the record.

It appears therefrom that the report has been forwarded to the Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal; Additional Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal; Home and Hill Affairs Department and Senior Special Secretary, Government of West Bengal; Home and Hill Affairs Department, Police Establishment Branch.

The report contains requirements suggestions and proposals.

It is expected that urgent and immediate steps shall be taken by the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary and Special Secretary on the report of the Administrator, Forensic Science Laboratory, West Bengal at Kolkata.

It is also expected that positive actions will be taken by the Secretaries within a period of three months from date.

The instant writ petition shall stand formally disposed of.
