Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the order passed by the District Magistrate for rendering police assistance and after informing the police authorities, till date the police authorities in connection with the direction of the District Magistrate did not forward the cost involved in rendering police assistance.

The police authorities are directed within a period of seven days to intimate the petitioners in respect of the cost involved as also inform them regarding the schedule date which would be convenient for rendering appropriate police assistance in respect of the schedule property to be taken possession as per direction of the District Magistrate.

State has submitted a report. I have seen the contentions, but the said contentions do not at present apply in view of the direction passed by the District Magistrate under the relevant provisions of the Act.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 3408 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
