The petitioner sought an information under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Being aggrieved with the outcome thereof, the petitioner preferred a first appeal and then a second appeal.

The second appeal was dismissed upon which the present writ petition is preferred.

Learned counsel for the second Appellate Authority hands over a communication dated February 19, 2024 indicating that the cause of action of the writ petition has been rendered academic since the second Appellate Authority, that is, the Commission, after having re-examined the appeal

has admitted the same and has assured that the same will be taken up chronologically.

Thus, the second appeal has been revived and the writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, WPA 3354 of 2024 is disposed of as infructuous by keeping on record the communication handed over by learned counsel for the second Appellate Authority with the expectation that the second Appellate Authority shall dispose of the pending second appeal of the petitioner as early as the business of the said authority permits. 7.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
