The subject-matter of this revisional application relates to discharge petition of the petitioners being rejected and which was affirmed by the learned sessions court. I have perused the materials so appearing and having regard to the stage of the case, I am of the view that it would not be fit and proper to exercise jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for terminating the proceedings at this stage. The case arose out of Khardah Police Station Case No. 937 of 2017 dated 16.12.2017 under Sections 323/379/354B/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Having considered the materials so appearing, I direct the learned trial court to prepone the date of the present case and fix the next date for consideration of charges on or before 30.04.2024.

The learned trial court after framing of the charges would fix one date in every 15 days so that trial of the case is completed preferably by 30.04.2025.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 592 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
