Petitioner is in custody for more than 235 days. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had abducted the victim and trafficked her outside the State of West Bengal. His bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits. Delay is due to the abscondence of the co-accused. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
