The writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the Debhog No.1 gram panchayat to continue with the service of the petitioner. Claim for arrear remuneration has also been made.

The learned advocate for the State respondents submits that the petitioner was engaged in a project under the MGNREGA. The project was discontinued in January 2018 and as such the reliefs prayed for cannot be granted. As none appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for, the writ petition is dismissed for default.
