Petitioner is in custody for over three years. He submits there is inordinate delay in trial. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits report.

We have considered the materials on record. From the report, we note seven witnesses have already been examined. Trial has sufficiently progressed.

There are materials implicating the petitioner in the crime.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
