The petitioners are the parents-in-law of the victim. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by the learned court below.

Learned counsel for the State, in his usual fairness submits that there is no specific allegation against the present petitioners. Further, the victim refused to undergo medical examination.

We have seen the material in the case diary. We are also told that the charge sheet has been filed. Having considered the material on record and the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that the petitioners need not be subjected to custodial interrogation immediately.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and shall abide by the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure until further orders.

The application for anticipatory bail being CRM 1552 of 2021 is, thus, allowed.
