The report reflects that the accused namely, Panchanan Singh, has been referred by the CHC Kaniha Hospital to DHH Angul Orthopedic Department.

Ld. Advocate for the State is unable to apprise this court regarding the jurisdiction of DHH Angul Orthopedic Department.

The Superintendent of Police (SP), Jangipur Police District would inform his counter-part to take steps for production of the accused before the ld. Jurisdictional court by 9th of May, 2024.

It would be the discretion of the ld. Magistrate before whom he is produced to take the decision regarding the issue relating to bail.

In view of the substantial changes, which have taken place, the earlier order dt. 25.4.2023 has lost its force and the ld. Magistrate is directed not to take the said order into account.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 598 of 2024 is disposed of.
