1. This revisional application has been filed praying for expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No. 117 of 2020 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court No. 3 at Barrackpore, 24 Parganas, North.

2. It is submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that the opposite party has been continuously taking adjournments in the suit and that April 30, 2026 has been fixed for framing of issues, almost six years after the institution of the suit.

3. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, no prior service of notice is being directed upon the opposite party. The petitioner shall however remain obliged to serve a copy of this order along with a copy of the revisional application upon the opposite party within a week from date.

4. Since the suit has been pending without substantial progress for the last six years, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the hearing of the

suit.

5. The learned Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. With the aforesaid observations CO. 568 of 2026 stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
