Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation has been made on 23rd August, 2024 for release of terminal benefits of her deceased husband, but the said representation has not been considered by the respondent authorities till date. Learned counsel appearing for the Mission Director, Paschim Banga Rajya Sishu Siksha Mission, Government of West Bengal submits that no representation has been made by the petitioner to the
Mission Director and as such the representation could not be considered.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is requested to make a fresh representation annexing all necessary documents before the Mission Director, Paschim Banga Rajya Sishu Siksha Mission, Government of West Bengal and the said respondent is requested to consider the same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. It is needless to mention that the whole exercise should be completed by the Mission Director within twelve weeks from date.
The Mission Director is also requested to pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of passing of the reasoned order.
The writ petition is, thus, disposed of, however, no order as to costs.
Since no affidavit is called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
