Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Apparently, a sum in excess of Rs.40 lakhs was paid by the de facto complainant for the purpose of buying a flat to the petitioner.

The flat was apparently sold to a different person. Need for custodial interrogation of the petitioner appears from the materials in the case diary.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 668 of 2023 is dismissed.
