It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the parties that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the defacto complainant/ private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners and the private opposite party that the entire due amount has been paid by the petitioners. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The proceeding being G.R.Case No. 8329 of 2024 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore be set aside/quashed qua the petitioners.

The criminal revision being CRR No. 703 of 2025 is disposed of.

The connected application being CRAN No. 1 of 2025 is also disposed of.
