The petitioner is the Pradhan of Beonta No.1 Gram Panchayat under Bhangore-II Development Block, District South 24-Parganas. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the prescribed authority in disposing of the application under Section 11(1)(d) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973. The said complaint of the petitioner dated January 27, 2022 appears at page 30 of the writ petition.

Under such circumstances, the concerned authority that is the Sub-Divisional Officer, Baruipur, South 24Parganas, shall dispose of the said complaint in accordance with law upon giving a hearing to the parties and allowing the respective parties to file their written versions and also

adduce oral and documentary evidence in support of their respective contentions, at the time of hearing. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all concerned. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

This Court has not gone into the merits of the claims and counterclaims of the parties and all points are to be decided by the prescribed authority.

This writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
