Pursuant to an interim order passed by this Court on 01.02.2008, counsel for the petitioner submits that his client participated in the interview. By the same interim order the State was restrained from publishing the panel.

The matter is rather old and it appears that no steps have been taken by the petitioner to have the matter listed after obtaining interim orders from the Court. The conduct of the petitioner is deprecated since rights of other candidates and the State's recruitment process has been frustrated thereby. It is therefore ordered that the panel may in the State's discretions be published subject to any rule and/or law as regards life of the panel and any other subsequent event that may have occurred in the meantime.

The State shall free to proceed in the matter in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
